Executive Team

Obie Strickler is Co-Founder, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Grown Rogue. He has served as President, CEO and Chairman since November 2018 and has been active in Oregon’s cannabis industry since the early 2000s.

Mr. Strickler and his wife, Sarah, operated and formed the legacy entities that became the foundation of Grown Rogue. In 2015, Mr. Strickler founded Canopy Management, LLC to consolidate several medical cannabis facilities, and in 2016 he formed Grown Rogue Unlimited, LLC as the Company entered the Oregon adult-use cannabis market.

Prior to focusing on cannabis full time, Mr. Strickler built and managed complex technical teams in the natural resources sector, supporting large-scale mining projects from exploration through feasibility. He also co-founded HyperSciences, Inc., a platform technology company focused on commercializing hypervelocity technology for industrial applications.

Mr. Strickler holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Southern Oregon University and is an Oregon Professional Geologist.

Sarah Strickler is Co-Founder and Chief Community Officer of Grown Rogue. Alongside her husband, Obie, she helped operate and form the legacy entities that became the foundation of Grown Rogue, supporting the Company’s growth from an Oregon-based medical cannabis operation into a multi-state platform focused on craft-quality flower, disciplined execution and strong culture.

Ms. Strickler played an important role in the Company’s transition into the adult-use cannabis market following Oregon’s legalization, helping build the operational foundation, team culture and community trust that continue to support Grown Rogue’s growth.

A former Division I basketball player at the University of Hawai‘i who completed her collegiate career at Southern Oregon University, Ms. Strickler brings a team-first, performance-driven approach to leadership. Her background in communications and wellness also informs her work in community engagement, culture building and destigmatization.

Today, Ms. Strickler focuses on strengthening Grown Rogue’s connection with employees, communities and stakeholders while helping ensure the Company’s values of integrity, compliance and execution remain central to its growth.

Andrew Marchington is Chief Financial Officer of Grown Rogue. He has served in the role since January 2025, after joining the Company as Senior Vice President, Finance in June 2023.

Mr. Marchington brings broad public company finance and accounting experience, including more than seven years in progressive finance roles within the U.S. cannabis industry. Prior to joining Grown Rogue, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Chalice Brands Ltd. and as Controller of C21 Investments, Inc.

Mr. Marchington began his career in public accounting and has held finance and accounting roles across several industries, including software, health insurance and startup environments. His experience includes financial reporting and consolidations, technical accounting, M&A, treasury management, ERP implementation, inventory and manufacturing costing, and complex accounting matters related to regulated and multi-state businesses.

Mr. Marchington is a licensed CPA in Oregon and Washington.

Josh Rosen is Chief Strategy Officer of Grown Rogue and a Managing Partner at Bengal Capital. He has more than 30 years of experience as both an investor and operator across finance and cannabis.

Mr. Rosen spent over a decade as an equity analyst, becoming one of the youngest Vice Presidents in Credit Suisse history at age 25, before co-founding a concentrated equity fund and leading private investing for a large Phoenix-based family office.

In cannabis, Mr. Rosen co-founded 4Front Ventures and served as Chief Executive Officer from 2014 to 2020. As a Partner at Bengal Capital, he helped form the Bengal Catalyst Fund in 2021, a concentrated equity fund focused on active participation in portfolio companies. The fund has generated positive performance during a period in which the broader cannabis sector ETF declined by more than 85%, reflecting a disciplined approach to capital allocation, portfolio construction and hands-on company building. His operating experience also includes a two-year tenure as Chief Executive Officer of Vireo Growth, where he led a significant operational and financial turnaround.

Mr. Rosen’s background combines capital allocation, public market strategy, operational leadership and hands-on experience building and growing cannabis businesses.

Laura Stensgaard is the Chief Marketing Officer of Grown Rogue. She brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing, brand strategy, consumer products, and retail, with a focus on building brands that connect with customers and support long-term growth.

At Grown Rogue, Ms. Stensgaard leads marketing strategy across the Company’s markets and brand portfolio, supporting consumer engagement, brand positioning, and market-level execution. Her work helps align Grown Rogue’s product quality, retail presence, and customer-facing communications as the Company continues to expand.

Ms. Stensgaard’s cannabis industry experience includes senior marketing leadership roles at vertically integrated single and multi-state operators, where she built and scaled marketing and design departments, managed national brand portfolios, and directed retail strategy, brand architecture, and digital platforms across multiple locations and markets.

Prior to cannabis, she built her foundation in marketing, events, and brand-building across hospitality and entertainment industries. Ms. Stensgaard holds a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Marketing and Data Analytics from Louisiana State University.
